It seems that most of us only see what we want to see. We only care about what benefits us the most as an individual and forget about others who are around us. People ignore the things that matter most. We need to open our eyes and look at what is happening around us. Most of us have blinders on and only look in one direction. Others are brainwashed by the media and other sources and only see what they want us to see. There are many problems occurring around us and we cannot pretend that they do not occur. Ignorance is not an excuse. Just because we choose to ignore these difficult situations doesn't mean that they will go away or that they do not exist.
